Compatibility issues can arise when:

a) There are several MS Office versions installed in the system at the same time 

Problem: ModelRisk does not start or starts in the oldest installed version of MS Office.

Solution: Reinstall the most up-to-date version of MS Office.

b) There are  third-party (non-MS) Office-AddIn applications in Excel, preventing ModelRisk from working properly

Problem: when trying to close Excel with ModelRisk loaded, Excel may freeze or crash; problems when loading or running a simulation.

Solution: disable add-ons other than ModelRisk modules in Excel settings. ModelRisk modules include the following add-ins:

- “ModelRisk”(ModelRisk.XLL),

- “ModelRisk Ribbon”(ModelRiskextendedui.dll).

- “MRConverter”(ModelRisk converter.dll).
